Wind Hughes is co-author of the award winning book, Daughters of the Moon, Sisters of the Sun (New Society Publishers) & her new book in progress, Life is the Ceremony, How We Live It is the Ritual. Wind co-authored the children ' s books Dragon 's Beach (World Sangha Publishing) and Skyler and the Coyote 's Song and other CD 's, & Videos. Wind created, facilitated & produced the documentary film: An Island of Women - an intergenerational, multicultural, ritual gathering of 64 women between the ages of 20 & 80. For over 30 years Wind has been a licensed Individual, Marriage, Family Therapist, Life Coach, Reiki Master. Wind is a minister and previously was a licensed Massage Therapist which is significant in the foundation of her integrative approach to her work and life. Wind has appeared extensively on radio around the world, including NPR 's New Dimensions Radio with Justine & Michael Toms. She is a passionate and dynamic presenter and travels widely leading workshops and presentations. Wind captivates audiences with her singing and drumming, often combined with her original pieces to create an experience she calls - TRANCE-FORMATIONAL. She collaborates with her husband, legendary musician Kevin Wood, writing and composing for WoodWind productions under Wammybox Records. She offers on site and distance counseling, coaching and consulting for individuals, groups and organizations. Wind created the trademarked term Spiritual R-Evolutionary: A program & network dedicated to changing lives and changing the world. Wind 's Women 's Initiation Program supports women in reclaiming the ancient ways of women. Her Earthbased and transcendent teachings provide a way of incorporating such knowledge into our daily living, and reclaims the art of creating and sacred use of ceremony. Wind was previously co-executive director of Mountain Spirit Productions dedicated to providing a forum for wisdom-keepers, scientists, and visionaries, and co-founder of the Daughters-Sisters project 501C3.
